Our founder Florence Noel felt a profound need for more intentional safe spaces for Black women by Black women, spaces that rose to the occasion of our arrival, that encouraged us to be fuller expressions of who we are, that gave us more than they took. Eager to find these spaces, Flo decided to create them and with the help of hundreds of Black women, Dear Black Women was born.
