It is a blessing beyond words to have the chance at Dear Black Women 2.0.
This next version of DBW has all the same care, love and intentionality as 1.0. It’s just that this time, all of that goodness extends to those of us behind the scenes, so that DBW can scale and be sustainable.
No more relying exclusively on white philanthropy, capitalistic competitions, or, honestly, my self funding. (Remember how, at one point, I found myself paying more than my mortgage each month to send out daily DBW texts to thousands for free? Out of alignment.)
Now, we turn to the DBW community to see what offerings resonate and build from there.
