Our retreat center is on Costa Rica's Caribbean coast, about 4-5 hours from SJO airport. With delays — rare, but possible — that trip can be 7 hours.
So, when choosing alternative transportation, work backward from your flight time, allowing plenty of room for the drive, and the time needed at SJO for an international departure.
Depending on your flight time, you may need to arrive to the retreat later or leave earlier.
