"You may not have clarity right now, but are kaleidoscopes clear?... Trust the process."

Written by Dear Black Woman Kamaria

Hey love,

You try to plan everything you do and touch in this world, but we not about to plan this letter. This letter will come from your belly. Come from your spirit. Release. It is okay to release.

I know you have secrets that you are holding. Fears that seem to keep unfolding. Regrets that seem to be stained on your sleeves. Release. It is okay to release.

You may not have clarity right now, but are kaleidoscopes clear? Nah. But they turn out to display some pretty beautiful works of art when you open your eyes. Trust the process.

You have the right to make mistakes. You have the right to learn and to grow. You are still learning who you are. Stop measuring your morals and your deeds according to what others have set for you. You don’t answer to anyone but God. A forgiving and graceful God. A God that sees you trying to get out of those cycles. A God that can heal the hurts that you still haven’t let Him touch.

Release. It is okay to release. You are strong, love. And don’t confuse having it all together with strength. You can be falling apart, and still be strong. You can be confused as to what’s the next step, and still be strong. You can be scared, and be strong. You can be weak, yet still be strong. A paradox that you have seen important women in your life carry on a daily.

And PLEASEEE! Stop being ‘round the city ‘round the clock! I understand you think everybody needs you, but don’t stretch yourself thin. You cannot continue to pour from an empty vessel. I am proud of you for the efforts you have already made in this area. Sitting at home doing nothing is okay. It does not mean you are lazy. It does not mean you are not accomplishing anything.

Let yourself breathe! Don’t feel guilty about taking up time and space for yourself.  Oh and another thing love, trust the process. Trust that what God has for you will ALWAYS be for you. Seeing everybody doing what seems to be their purpose can be distracting. Don’t doubt yourself. Believe that your work, your journey, and purpose is valuable. Because it is!

You may not have clarity right now, but are kaleidoscopes clear? Nah. But they turn out to display some pretty beautiful works of art when you open your eyes. Trust the process.

You are beautiful. Your body is beautiful! Your spirit is beautiful! Your hair is beautiful! YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL!
