"You are always growing and changing for better. Leaving the old skin behind..."

Hey Steph,

I am here to tell you that I am really loving who you have become, especially after the bullshit folks tried to come at you with over the years.  Does gap-tooth ring a bell?  How about fatso and Buckwheat?  Oh the best underhanded compliment, “you’re cute for a dark-skinned girl!” Well look at you now, looking like a chocolate bar! And you know, everybody loves chocolate!  Your hair, so versatile.  From blond fros, to braids and weaves.  Girl, you are always stylish!  That smile of yours, very inviting and unforgettable.  I would recognize you with half your face covered.  Now that brick house you tote around, well we can do some things better.  However, in the meantime, you jingling baby, go ‘head baby!  Your are a fashionista.  You always dress yourself well and present yourself with confidence.  No shortage of fellas trying to holla but don’t answer girl.  You do have a man.

When I see you, I think of the sycamore tree that sheds its bark.  You are always growing and changing for better.  Leaving the old skin behind for a fresh new one.

Stephanie girl, when I see you, I think of the sycamore tree that sheds its bark.  You are always growing and changing for better.  Leaving the old skin behind for a fresh new one.  You grow and learn from your mistakes.  You are a good student when it comes to life lessons.  You are wiser than you sometimes let on because you think that will put people off.  Girl, you have been through some shit.  You better testify about what GOD has brought you through.  You don’t have to dim your light for others to shine and appreciate you.  Those that admire you, y’all gonna shine brighter, together.  Those that don’t, can kick rocks.  You need to be in the presence of those that will challenge you to to shine brighter anyway.  Steph, I know it hurts you that your family have become distant over the years.  Those that were close, now shade you and try to destroy you.  It’s ok. Y’all just share some DNA.  Now your relatives, the folks that you choose to be in relation with, those are the people you cherish.  So what, they are not family.  They have your back 50 grand.  They are the ones excited to see you shine.

Lastly, Steph, don’t be afraid to get uncomfortable and be great in your business.  You have been blessed with an opportunity to change the course of you children’s lives forever as well as impact thousands more.   The same way you prayed for GOD to send something your way that will align with your purpose, others are on their knees praying for that too.  Who cares if people don’t see what you see.  Some will, some won’t, so fucking what!!!  I do know this, if you don’t share your blessing with as many people as you can, it would be as if you weren’t blessed at all.  Now, I know you don’t won’t to piss on GOD’s blessings.

Stephanie, I just want you to know that you are a phenomenal woman.  You are genuine and good-hearted.  You are a nurturer and a teacher.  You give love, so you receive love.  I see nothing but greatness in your path because you have GOD’s favor.

Love,

YOU
