"Sometimes it’s hard to see, keep this as a love beam to help light your way."

This is not only a love letter, but a liberation text, an effort to shake you loose from the narratives that make you only as could as what you do.

I love you for no reason other than that I love you.

You don't need to accomplish anything.

My loving you doesn't hinge on anything you do.

Your actions aren't you.

Your actions, at best, uncover the inherent reason to love you, bringing me closer to the enduring why that simply is you.

You could just be a motionless blob and I'd love you all the same. I said: You could be just a motionless blob (a fine as one at that 😂) and I'd love you all the same.

This is not only a love letter, but a liberation text, an effort to shake you loose from the narratives that make you only as could as what you do. Predatory narratives that set you up to be unhealthy, overworked, exhausted and depressed prey.

This is a gentle reminder that you are not what you do. You are you. And that is everything.

In a world that offers terms and conditions designed for you to lose yourself in the fine print, I'll make it plain for you:

I love you just as you are.

Go free and live more with that assurance, that come rain or drought, I'll love you.

Come highs or lows, I'll love you.

Come failures or successes, I'll love you.

Come connections or loneliness, I'll love you.

Come sickness or health, I'll love you.

Come being I-know-I'm-right or being cotdamn-I'm-wrong, I'll love you.

There ain't no changing this. This a love thang. This is you.

I know, on this journey, sometimes it’s hard to see. Keep this as a love beam to help light your way.
